Aftercare Dance Manager Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage after-school dance programs across multiple locations
-
Act as the liaison between schools, instructors, and the 5678 Dance Inc. leadership team
-
Ensure classes start on time and are running smoothly
-
Provide on-site support to instructors as needed
-
Monitor student safety and manage behavior if needed
-
Help coordinate schedules, classroom transitions, and program logistics
-
Communicate with parents and school staff in a professional manner
-
Support with choreography, class structure, and teacher development when necessary

Dance Teacher Responsibilities:

Teach using various dance styles and methodologies
-
Prepare and implement lesson plans
-
Motivate and inspire students to reach their goals
-
Choreograph age-appropriate routines
-
Create a fun, safe, and creative classroom environment

Substitute Dance Teacher Responsibilities:
-
Be available on short notice to fill in for scheduled teachers
-
Teach using various styles and methodologies
-
Keep students engaged and motivated
-
Maintain a safe and positive classroom atmosphere
​
Assistant Dance Teacher Responsibilities:
-
Supervise students during check-in/check-out and transitions
-
Support lead teachers with classroom management
-
Help lead warm-ups and assist younger students
-
Encourage student participation and maintain engagement
-
Assist with breakout groups, first-aid needs, and bathroom breaks
​
Requirements (All Positions):
-
Dance, Cheer, or Theater experience is required
-
Previous relevant teaching or youth program experience preferred
-
Strong communication and classroom management skills
-
Dependability, professionalism, and a passion for working with children
